Book Review 2-11 Tom Cruise

In this book, many things about Tom Cruise are written, so I was interested in.

Tom is loved by Hollywood, and he made many succeeds in movies. If the movie wasn't good, the movie which Tom appeared made a lot of money.


In 1962, Tom was born in New York. His real name was Tomas Cruise, and everyone called him Tom. When he was a child, his family moved seven times. So Tom couldn't made good friends.

In 1937, Tom's mother divorced, and married again in 1987. Then sh moved in New Jersey.

Tom was a good actor, and Tom went to New York, where the place for Young actors. First, Tom couldn't get jobs. But in a movie, which mane was "Tags" , Tom made a succeed. And in a movie, which name was "Top Gun" made big hit. Tom became famous and popular. After that, tom appeared in many movies.


In 1987, Tom and Mimi married, but they divorced. The causes of their divorce was Tom's popularity. Mimi hated called "Mrs. Tom Cruise."


Tom married again in 1990. The wife was Nicole Kidman. She was a famous actor, too. They were very happy, and they had two children. Tom and Nicole made many good movies and big hits. They looks so happy. They loved each other, and they had cute children, expensive cars, airplanes, big boat, and big homes in New York and United States and Australia. But they divorced. Because they were very busy, and they couldn't meet. But after that, they made many big hits.

At his school, he asked his best friend, Alec. But he had to go to dentist. Next he asked to Chala, but she didn't like beef stew.

After school, at a library, Nicky asked Mr. Blake, who was an officer of the library. But he was going to eat out with his family. Next, Nicky asked to police officer, Gabel. But she had her birthday party at the night.

Finally, he couldn't find anyone who invite for the supper. But when he came back home, he got a post card, and it said, his grandmother will come his home. He went to meet his grandmother at the station, and invite the supper.

One day, the snow was stop, and spring came. The snow child looked very sad, and she said, "I have to go", and she had gone. The old man and his wife were very sad.

On next winter, someone came to their house. It was snow child!! She will come back on every winter.

This is story about teeny-tiny woman. The things which appear on this story was all tiny. The word "Teeny-Tiny" appears in this story again and again.

There were teeny-tiny woman. One day, she went for a walk, and she walked into a teeny-tiny graveyard. In the graveyard, she found teeny-tiny born. She thought that use the bone for her supper. So she brought back the born.

At night, she went to her bed. She was going to fall a sleep. But teeny-tiny voice woke up her. The voice said, "Give me my born!" She was scared. The voice became louder and louder. Finally, she got angry, and throw away the bone from the window.

If I was her, I'll never think of bring back a bone.

I have read this story when I was a child. This story was very famous in Japan, too.

There were three pigs, and they were brothers. One day, they decided to build their own house. First, the oldest pig bought straws. He decided to build straw house. He built a house quickly. But a wolf had its eyes on him. The wolf knock the straw door, but the pig didn't open the door. So the wolf blow the house off by him breath. The pig was eaten.

The middle pig decided to build a house with wood. He thought that the wood house was strong enough to avoid the wolf. But even the wood house, blow off bu the wolf's strong breath.

The youngest pig built a house with bricks. He took long time to built it, but he made a very strong house. So the wolf couldn't blow the house off. The wolf got angry, and tried to enter from the chimney. But the youngest pig was smarter then the wolf. He simmer water bottom the chimney. So the wolf fell in the boiled water.

Book Review 2-6 CORDUROY Makes a Cake

Corduroy decided to make a birthday cake for Lisa. So when Lisa went to school, he started cooking. But he made many mistakes. He spill flour on the floor, and batter hit the walls. He made a mess!

But after, he found a round cake. So he didn't have to make a cake. He thought of to decorate the cake. He started to practice decorate. He wrote on the wall and mirror with the pink frosting. Then, someone come in the house. He hide in a round box. Lisa's mother was coming!

Lisa's mother looked the dining, and shouted, "What a mess!!!" She started clean the room.

Then, Corduroy found sawing set. He think of decorate a round box with buttons and ribbons. When he had finished decorate the box, Lisa's mother came in the room. So he hidden in the box. Lisa's mother thought that the box was a present foe Lisa.

After a while, Lisa and her friends came back home, and friends sent presents foe Lisa. Finally, Lisa found a decorated round box. She opened the box, and Corduroy appeared. Lisa was so happy, and the box looked like a cake.

Book Review 2-5 Drive Into Danger

Mark Miles and his son Andy were working at a truck company. One morning, they had a trouble. A worker, Gary who can drive a truck didn't come the work on time. Later, he came. But he broke his arm, and he couldn't drive. This day, they had to carry a load to France, but there was no one who can drive the truck, and Mark and Andy were unhappy.

Just thew, Kim Parker who work at the company on holiday came. Fortunately, she had a truck licence, and she could drive the truck. And Andy could speak French, so he decided to go with Kim. So Mark showed Kim how to go to France. Gary told Kim that she have to take a lest at truck stops, and he said, he put a box of sandwich on the truck. But actually, Gary had another purpose. It's drug. He intended to carry drugs. He told his fellow that he couldn't carry drugs, but Kim and Andy were substitute for him.

On the way to French, Andy found that the truck was losing oil a few at a time. They tried to solve the problem. At the next truck stop, Kim saw the oil pot under the truck. There are cover on oil pot, and it was broken. The cover was same as sandwich box. So they put on the sandwich box instead of the cover.

When Kim and Andy enter next bus stop, there was a dubious man. He look into under the truck. They were suspicious the man, and left the truck stop. But Kim noticed that a red car was behind them. They opened the oil pot cover, and there were many drugs! They understood that the man who were driving the red car need the drugs. They through away the drugs in a rubbish dump. Then, two men chase Kim and Andy. They were intend to get back the drugs. Kim told them that the drug were in the rubbish dump.

While the men were in the rubbish dump, Kim and Andy called polices. They were arrested.

Book Review 2-4 NANA

This is a Japanese comic. But I found this comic which was written in English! It is very interesting! I like English comics more than Japanese comics. I can learn many new words with joy. But English comic is expensive.

In this story, there were two girls. Both of them were named NANA. In this book, their story was written.

First, the story about Nana Komatsu. She was a high school student. She was in love with Mr. Asano. But that was illicit love. One day, Nana was rejected suddenly. She was disappointed. Nana and her friend Junko entered an art school. Nana met Shoji there. Nana and Shoji was good friends. Shoji loved Nana. But Nana didn't. Nana look for a new boyfriend. But finally, Shoji and Nana became lovers.

One day, Junko decided to go to Tokyo. So Nana was very sad, and cried. Kyosuke who was Shoji's friend and Junko's boyfriend will go to Yokyo, too. So Nana and Shoji was decided to enter Tokyo's art school. But they failed the school. Shoji decided to study in Tokyo. Nana returned her home. It was a long-distance relationship. But they will be alright.

Next story was about Nana Osaki. She was a musician. Her boyfriend was Ren, and he was a musician, too. They belong to the same Music band, Blast. The members of Blast was Nana, Ren, Nobu, and Yasu. Nana and Ren were really happy. But One day, Ren decided to go to Tokyo to enter pro-musician band. So Nana was really sad. She could follow him, but She didn't. She thought her pride was more important than her lover. And she toward pro musician in her home town.

In this book, Sarah and Jessica who are the main characters of this book went to New Zealand. And I went to New Zealand in this summer. So I was interested in this book, and read it.

Sarah and Jessica were very excited. But their airplane late. So they had possibility of missing their bus. So they arrive at New Zealand, they were going to catch a taxi. But there were many people at the taxi stand. But two boys gave them a taxi, and Sarah and Jessica could catch their bus. But in the taxi, there was a mobile phone. They realized that the mobile phone was the boy's. They found that the boy's name was Michael. So they looked for Michael to back his mobile phone.

Next day, Sarah and Jessica found Michael, but the bus he was riding didn't stop. So they couldn't catch up with him. Next day, they went to the Sky Tower. They found Michael, but he walked away. Then, Sarah was doing bungy jumps, so Jessica run after Michael. But she runs after him without bringing Sarah's bag. So they couldn't meet Michael, and Sarah lost her bag.

Next day, they went to the dark cave. In the cave, they knew that Michael will go to Rotorua by watching his mobile phone's massage. So they went to Rotorua. At Rotorua, Michael's mobile phone caught a massage from his parents. They were worry about Michael. So Sarah and Jessica brought his phone to the police station.

Sarah and Jessica looked at a sight board of whale show. They wanted to watch the show, but they didn't have enough money. Then, Jessica saw Michael. Finally, they could meet! Michael could get his mobile phone. Then, Michael's parent got ￡100000 from the Lottery. So Michael gave the girls whale show ticket as thanks to his mobile phone.

In London, there are two polices, Dan and Sue. Then, many robbery were happening near there. Dan got angry at these troubles. So they tried to arrest the robber. They suspected a jogger who jog the street everyday as a robber.

One day, they kept watch the jogger with having a radio. Then, he run into an old woman. The old woman fell down. A young woman and Young man who has a long hair run up to the old woman, and the young man shouted at the jogger, and he run away. The young woman and man help the old woman. Dan and Sue run up to them, and confirm that the old woman certainly have her wallet. The old woman noticed that her wallet was missing.

Dan and Sue run after the jogger and caught him. But he didn't have the missed wallet. The two polices was so confused. Then, they noticed a TV camera. They watched the TV camera carefully, and found two dubious people. The young woman and man who helped the old woman. So they tried to do a decoy investigation.

Sue got a lot if money, and dropped them on the street on purpose. The young man run up to her, and help her picking up the money. Dan and Sue suspected him. But he gave her all money. So he was not the robber. They continued the investigation. Then, the young woman walk after with little kid.

Then the jogger attacked Sue, and Sue dropped what she was having, with a lot of money. The young woman shouted the jogger, again with passing him Sue's wallet. So they were partner! But he found a police radio in Sue's pocket. He got her money, and run away. Sue caught the woman, and Dan run after the jogger. Finally, the jogger was caught. And Dan and Sue reveal that the young woman and the jogger were partner, and they were arrested.

This story was about the year 650. The stage was England. Then, England didn't have a king, so people are their own way, and fighting each other. There was a magician, Merlin. One night, he saw a dream. The dream showed him a great king. The king's name was Arthur, and Merlin started to look for him.

There was magic stone, which was made by Merlin, and it got stuck a sword. The man who could pull out the sword was a king. But no one can pull out it. But the sword was pulled out by young boy, Arthur. People were happy to fine the king. And there was Arthur's half sister, Morgan, and her son, Mordred. Morgan could see things which happened in the future. Arthur grown up to a excellent king with Merlin's help.

One morning, an army attacked Arthur. Merlin suggest that Arthur should fight, and Arthur won. After the fight, Arthur met a girl, Guinevere. He wanted to marry her. But Merlin opposed. Merlin could see a dark future. But Arthur got married Guinevere by force. So Merlin became have to leave Arthur. When he leave, he gave Arthur a magic sword.

After Arthur got married, he received a large round table by his wife. So he was going to choose the strongest knights who can sit the big table. Many knights fought each other, and the strongest knight was Lancelot. Arthur and Lancelot became good friends.

One night, Merlin advised Arthur to be careful to Mordred. And one day Mordred cheated Arthur. He said that Arthur's wife and Lancelot was falling love, and Arthur misunderstood the relation between Guinevere and Lancelot. Mordred suggested that Arthur should beat Lancelot, and Arthur tried to do it. But on the way to the fight, a knight told Arthur about Arthur's misunderstanding, and Arthur and Lancelot restoration their relation.

Arthur went to beat Mordred. But in the fight, Arthur was killed. Lancelot did Arthur's revenge. So he killed Mordred. He saw off the King Arthur.

One Thursday morning, Sally 's phone was ringing. That was early morning, the call was from Andrew, who is Sally's boyfriend. He is Rich, and he have a beautiful and expensive car. Andrew calls Sally to tell things about the meeting with Andrew's boss, Michel which would held at the night. He said to Sally to come wearing a blue skirt. But Sally didn't want to wear the blue skirt, because the skirt was dirty. But Andrew put off the call before Sally tell him it. When Sally was having break fast, and her brother teased Sally about Andrew.

Sally got on the train to go to her workplace. In the train, most of all people talked on their Phones. Sally was talking Andrew. Sally tried to tell Andrew that her blue skirt is cannot be worn. But Andrew put off the phone again. When the train moved, people put off their phone and talked with near people. And the train stop again, people picked up their phone again.

At Sally's work place, she was talking her friend, Claire. Sally talked about Andrew and Michel, and blue skirt. They decided to go to look for a skirt at lunchtime. Sally and Clair and Their friend, Louise was having coffee, and Louise said to Sally that Sally would forget Andrew rather than being what said Andrew.

At lunch time, Sally and Clair went to a shop to look for Sally's skirt. Clair suggested that Sally should buy a red skirt. Because she thought that the red skirt much Sally. And Sally bought the red skirt. After the shopping, Sally went into a cafe to have a coffee. When she had a coffee, a man who was next to her was talking on his phone. His name was Paul. After he finished his talking, he dropped her bag with the new skirt accidentally. He apologized Sally. She said “OK.” and give him a smile. Paul came to like her smile.

After Paul had finished have a coffee, his call phone was starting ring. But the noise was different from his phone. He answered the phone. The phone was from Andrew. So Paul's phone and Sally's phone was changed. On the other hand, Sally was in her office, her phone, actually Paul's phone was starting ring. She thought, “What is the noise?” The call was from Paul's sister, Katharine. Katherine said, “Please tell Paul to a massage. There's my birthday party at 8 o'clock.” And Katherine put off the call.

Paul thought of call for my phone. So the parson who is having his phone answered. He called his phone, and Sally answered. They decided to meet change their phone. The place was Queen's Square.

It was half past five, the promised time to go to Queen's Square was coming. Sally put on her new red skirt. When she arrived Queen's Square, she couldn't find Paul. There were a lot of people. But at last, she found Paul, and they changed their phone. Then, Paul thought that Sally is beautiful, and Sally thought Paul is nice guy. Paul induced Sally to drop in a bar. Then, Sally remembered about Paul's sister's massage. So She told him about it. Paul forgot his sister's birthday party. He was unseated. So Sally advised him to buy a flower bouquet. So he decided to buy a bouquet.

Paul invited Sally to the birthday. Sally decided to go with him, with ignored Andrew.

Bill thought the man as strange. But he wanted to help the man. So he decided to take the man to his home.

At Bill's home, he talked his wife, Emily about the man. She thought strange, too. The strange man slept in Bill's car. So they take him to the bed. The man had his wallet in his pocket. So Emily call his home. But the man was missing thirty years ago, and his wife has a new husband and three children. They were confusing. Bill decided to call a flying doctor.

The flying doctor arrived, and saw him. The doctor decided to take him to a hospital. So he was raided on the plane. The man opened his mouth for the first time. He said, “I don't want to be here.” And he stood up in the plane. Doctor tried to stop him. But he said to the doctor, “You can come too. Do you want to?” And he jumped from the plane. Over falling, the man was smiling. Suddenly, the man's body was held with white light. The doctor couldn't open his eyes. The doctor think, “I want to go too!”

A man whose name was Roy worked at an airport. Suddenly, a plane arrived the airport. A man got out from the plane. He looked like a flying doctor. He looks little tired and his suit was dirty. Roy spoke to the old flying doctor. And the doctor said to Roy, “Do you want to come with me?”

There was a boy whose name was Stave, his father was the editor of the weekly news paper. The name was Cado Star.

One day, he heard a news by his friend, that was a beautiful girl comes to his town. He wanted to find her. On the same day, his father's only reporter had a illness. So father asked Stave to find something interesting to publish on his newspaper. Stave replayed “OK, maybe.” and he went out to find the beautiful girl.

The girl's name was Mariette. She wanted to take some interesting pictures. First, she went to a mall to buy a film. Stave found her at the mall, and follow her by car. But he watched her too eagerly to pay attention to in front of his car. His car run onto the flower garden. After Marietta bought a film, Stave lost sight of her. He looked her too eagerly to pay attention to his back. He drop in the fountain.Mariette looker the moment, and she thought it can be interesting picture, and she take a picture of Stave in the fountain.

Next, Mariette went to a ranch, and take some pictures, and he hit in a store. After these, Stave was taken his funny pictures by Mariette any number of times. The purpose of her taking pictures was to sell these pictures to Cado Star. She made a promise with Stave's father to sell these.

On the other side, Stave tried to find something interesting for his father. He decided to interview Mr. Ritchie, who was old writer. Mr Ritchie talked about his experience.

On the way of Mr. Ritchie's talking, Stave found a cat on a tree. It couldn't get down from the tree by itself. Stave tried to save the cat, and climb the tree. Just the time, Mariette came to there. Stave falling down in a pond, and the cat was saved.

Mariette was a daughter of Mr. Ritchie. She sold Stave's picture which he was falling down in the pond. His picture was published on Cado Star newspaper. He was a good newspaper reporter.

A man, whose name is Kenny was going to go to San Francisco by bus. On the way to there, at a little town in California, he decided to stay in the town the day.

At the same time, In a street in Los Angels, a robbery was occurred. The robber of the robbery was somebody who has long blond hair, and ride on a motorcycle. It can't be judged man or woman.

One side, Kenny arrived at a motel. His room was twenty-three. And the same time, a girl who has long blond hair and ride on a motorcycle arrived the motel too. Kenny thought, he seems to see her face before.

On the next morning, Kenny put on the TV in his room, and he watched a news. It was the robbery which occurred at Los Angels yesterday. He watched the feature of the robber, and he thought, the girl he looked yesterday is the robber. But it didn't clear that she was really robber or not. So he decided to make sure.

The girl was table near the window, so he ask her shear the seat, and introduce himself. The name of the girl was Mel, and she was going to go to San Francisco by motorcycle. After for a while, she went to call a phone. Then, a young man watching Mel. Kenny wanted to know why he watches her, and he went to near the man, whose name was Ned. Ned said, he suspect to the girl is the robber.

Kenny decided to make sure the girl is the robber or not by searching robbed money in her room. He steal in her room, and look for the money. But there weren't the money. Then, somebody came in the room. It was Mel. Kenny was flurried and run away from window, to the next room. Then he was surprised. In the room, there were a long blond hair's wig and money. So, somebody who stayed the room was the robber! Suddenly, the door of the room was opened. There was Ned. So, Ned was true robber. He attack to Kenny, and run away by motorcycle.

Mel watched the state and ask Kenny what happened. She listened the detail, and she said, “I can stop him!” And Mel run after Ned, and she stopped him. Ned was arrested.

Mel was a famous stunt girl, so Kenny had watched her on TV. Kenny and Mel decided to go San Francisco together by motorcycle, slowly.

But Hank know that would occur a solar eclipse. So he predicted it in front of the masses. And the solar eclipse really occurred. The masses was surprised at his predict, and they wanted Hank to be boss.

After that, he worked to improve the life of the masses. One day, he decided to pretend to the masses. He thought that want to know the life of people. King Arthur want to go, too. So they went the downtown together. But in the downtown, they ware mistaken as slaves. They were sold for four dollars. They tried to escape. But they were founded. So they would be executed. They asked to help to their followers. So their followers came to help them.

After that, Hank made the town comfortable more and more. But the magician didn't think him as good.So he would attacked him. Now. he got up from the long dream. And he was already about 70 years old. So, he had slept for a long time.

A morning, Adam Gray, works at a bank got up. He go to work everyday. And this day, he went to the bank. On the way to the bank, Mrs. B talked to him. She saw Adam's horoscope for the day. She said, Adam as well do something different the day. So he decided to go to another way to the bank. When he was through a park, actors took a movie. There were actors whom clothes like thieves. So Adam though that they are really thieves, and a girl, who name was Serena, really needed someones help. So he took her hand and run away.

At the same time, Adam's work place was attacked really thieves. On the way to Adam went to the bank, he stroked with the thieves. And then, the thieves bag and his bag was changed. In Adam's bag, there were only newspapers. And in the thieves bag, there are lot of money which robbed from the bank.

In the way to flight, the thieves notice that no money in the bag. So they run after Adam and Serena. They ran away, and Serena ask Adam to call to the movie supervision. And thieves caught up Adam and Serena. The senses of thief was Adam's work place's boss. When he was about to killed, policemen was coming. And thieves were caught.

After all, he noticed that he was late for his work. And the bank's owner fire him. But the movie supervision say to Adam, that he want Adam to work as an actor.

A day, the girl who name was Sam gets up midnight because of her parent's quarrel voice. So she got up from her bed, and slipped out her room secretly with rabbit stuffed doll. She knows, she can go to strange street when she get in the elevator.

As she got in the elevator, there is a magic button. She thought that if she push the button, she can go to strange street. But the day, she found a button which she had ever seen. The button written alphabets, W.W. But she push the button. The doors opened she saw not strange street but forest which filled with wild woods. So, W.W means “Wild Woods.” She felt scared.

She landed there, and walked alone. She saw many creatures and heard small, scuttling noises. A rabbit across front of her. An owl hooted. She was lonely, and she felt lonely.

She found a strangest little creature. It wears huge pair of glasses on its head. And the creature was angry. It asked for her to help to look for its glasses. When Sam heard this, she laughed, and tell to where its glasses.The name of the creature was Obby. Obby invited her to his home. But she have to go home. So Obby use his strange power, and appear the elevator's door. And she can went back home.

This story was about happening in prison.

An innocent man was caught in prison. He stay in five years.
He decided to escape from there. He planed how he escape. And the next day, finally, he escaped. Policemen noticed his escape, and they chased him with dog. He thought, he can't hide from dogs, but he hide in lake, and succeeded.

After minute, he was too tired to walk anymore. So he steal a man's bicycle. He cycle for hours. And he reached a cow shed. He sleeps there. In the morning, he got up. And he noticed that he were wearing prison clothes. So he need a clothes. So he steal the shed owner's clothes.

He ran away at a airport. He got in a box. He thought he can escape for abroad and he will be free. But police men's dog and shed's owner find him And he must be in prison again. And this time, he was a truth thief.

I think, this story's man was so unlucky. And if he don't think about escape, he may be free more rapidly.

Maybe, I had read this book before. But I think this book is really interesting and easy to read. So I had read this again.

Jack was going to leave a job and get a new job. So Jack's job friends held farewell party for him. At the party, a present was sent to Jack. It was a mobile phone. He was very delighted. Because he can call someone every time, everywhere. And everyone had a good time at the party.

On the way to his house, he took a taxi. On the way, he was sleeping. While he was sleeping, a terror got on the taxi. The terror had a gun. And the terror didn't notice the existence of Jack. But On the way, Jack got up and understood the circumstance. So he thought that he must do something. So he pretended to had a gun. He was his finger on terror's head which form like a gun. But the finger was seen by terror through a room mirror. So the terror noticed that as a matter of fact, Jack didn't have a gun. So Jack was got in the taxi's boot.
